Refunds and Returns Policy
For all Fit-to-Fly tests they can be refunded two working days prior to the requested day of the test, or so long as the test kit is returned to us in its original seal.
Once the test has been carried out there is no refund – irrespective of the result* or acceptance by the airline or destination authorities.
For the day 2 and day 8 travel test package, Test to release test or individual Day 2/8 Tests, there is no refund once a booking reference number has been issued. However, we can change the date of your tests as long as 48 hours notice is given prior to your original booking arrival date.
*Result – Positive, negative or inconclusive.

The information that we request from you is essential for us to conduct the COVID-19 screening service for you and/or to communicate with you. We will only use the information that you have provided, to allow us to undertake the contractual commitment between you and us. All data is stored in a controlled and secure environment. Your personal information will only be accessed by authorised 101 Testing personnel and contractors who require the information to be able to perform a task. All results are reported to Public Health England (PHE) as required by current Government regulations. We are obliged to pass on your details to local authorities i.e Police, if requested to do so.
The COVID-19 PCR test is a SELF SWAB test. You agree to carry out your own swab in line with Public Health England guidance. All swabs are processed by our partner UKAS accredited laboratories. Our service is solely to aid in the testing process by provision of their tests to yourself, in our setting which is COVID-19 secure. We do not accept any liability for any incorrect usage or injury that may transpire whist you are undertaking the self swab test.
If you are purchasing a test for the purposes of travelling, requirements from local authorities at your country of destination may vary weekly or even daily. Travel requirements can be a specific number of hours from the time of test/certificate (sometimes time of sample) until the departure (sometimes local time of arrival). Please ensure you have understood these clearly. It is your duty to ensure your chosen test meets the requirements set out by the destination authority and your airline. Whilst 101 Testing may provide guidance on travel regulations and timescales; we do this on a goodwill basis and will not be held liable for any damages.
A Valid result will be either classified as Negative, Positive or Inconclusive.There is no refund available on a valid result.
Whenever possible we will contact you via phone or email. Regrettably, 101 Testing cannot disclose results of any patient to a 3rd party (including relatives) other than a consenting adult unless stated by yourself in writing in an email or verbally at the time of your appointment.
Please note you must book more than 48 hours from the date of your arrival to ensure your test kit arrives on time. Failing to do so may mean your kit arrives later than the date required. We will not be held responsible for this.
We will ensure where appropriate notice has been given (as outlined above), that a relevant delivery service has been selected to fulfill your order within the required time scale.
However, we CANNOT guarantee the postal/courier service or the exact day/time of processing as this is outside our control and depends on volumes at post offices and laboratories at the time of posting/testing. Under no circumstance will 101 Testing be liable for travel expenses, flights or accommodation as a result of any issues with your test, including in the event your result being positive, inconclusive or if your flight is delayed.
By purchasing this test, you acknowledge and agree to the terms above and that 101 Testing cannot be held liable for any losses or delays due to the factors involved, some of which are outside our control. Your purchase is understood as a formal consent for us to share your details with the laboratory assigned to test your sample and Public Health England.
You must not book a travel test if you have any COVID-19 symptoms i.e. a temperature above 37.8°C, a persistent cough, or new change in taste or smell.
Please note this is a COVID-19 PCR test to tell you if you are currently infected. This test can be used for travel requirements. However, once the test has been conducted you must isolate until your flight time to ensure its validity.
If the test is positive you need to self-isolate for another 10 days. This starts from the day you took the test, or from when you first had symptoms if that is earlier. People you live with in the UK, or people you are staying with, should also self-isolate for 10 days from the date of your positive test.
